A Study of Pension System Reform in Latin America
Fecha:2008/04/30 Autor: In a wave of the global pension system reform in 1980s and 1990s, Latin American countries took the initiative to make a structural reform and built up a personal accounting system. They introduced the mechanism used in private sectors and markets to the pension management conducted previously by the government. The reforms had started a“silent revolution”in the field of social security. This book seeks to make a theoretical analysis and give explanations to those issues based on the grasping overall outlook of the reforms in Latin America.
